In this video, ACG Research Managing Partner Ray Mota talks to Luc Ceuppens, vice president of product marketing for the Infrastructure Products Group at Juniper Networks, about Juniper's new T4000 core router, which is slated to start shipping in the second half of 2011.
Mota and Ceuppens discuss the motivation behind Juniper's T4000 and how the T4000 Series differs from Juniper's previous T640 and T1600 core router offerings. They also talk about protecting carrier investment in existing T Series equipment.
Ceuppens also details potential applications for the T4000's muscle, including its prospective value in handling increasing video traffic. He identifies decision points for service providers choosing between Juniper's Carrier Ethernet-focused MX Series of routers or the more broadly scalable T Series, like the T4000.

He has more than 25 years of international experience in sales and marketing of high-tech products and services. Prior to joining Juniper, he held senior positions with Solectron, StrataLight Communications, Calient Networks, Level 3 Communications and WorldCom.
